Font
License
1. Who owns the fonts?
I, Nikita Kanarev (an individual designer), own the font files delivered with this license. Below, these are called *my fonts*. The person or company who buys this license is the *license buyer*. The *licensed users* are the people the license buyer designates to use the fonts.
2. What kind of license is this?
This license is:
- Non-exclusive — I may license the same fonts to others.
- Non-transferable — you can’t give or sell this license to someone else.
- Perpetual — it doesn’t expire.
- Device-based — the fonts can be installed on the permitted number of devices.
3. Who can use the fonts?
Licensed users must be human beings (not bots, not companies). You may install the fonts on any devices personally and exclusively used by licensed users. You may change who’s designated as a licensed user, as long as you don’t exceed your license size. (Check your invoice or purchase info for details.)
4. What can you
do with the fonts?
You can use the fonts to create:
- Printed materials (books, packaging, posters, etc.)
- Digital designs (social media, websites, apps, etc.)
- Logos, branding, and commercial products
You may also embed the fonts as:
- Read-only in PDFs, EPUBs, or apps (users can’t extract or modify the fonts)
- Webfonts (WOFF, WOFF2) on websites you own (up to 3 domains)
5. What can’t you do?
To keep things clear:
- No selling, reselling, renting, or sublicensing the fonts
- No open-source publication or uploading to public repos
- No modifying the glyphs or making derivative fonts
- No reverse engineering or format conversion (beyond webfont use)
- No using the fonts to train AI or ML systems
- No embedding in documents/apps intended for other people to reuse the font itself
6. Trial fonts
Trial fonts (if provided) may be installed on one (1) device and used only for non-commercial evaluation. You may not embed, publish, or share work created with trial fonts.
7. Technical support
I don’t currently offer support or updates with the fonts. If that changes in the future, I’ll let license buyers know.
8. Termination
This license remains in effect until you break it. If you do, it ends automatically, and you must delete all copies of the fonts, including backups.
9. Legal stuff
This agreement doesn’t need to be tied to any specific country’s law. If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. I don't claim legal advice here, just reasonable terms between two humans.
10. Questions?
Just email me: i@nikitakanarev.ru
Thanks for respecting the work — enjoy the fonts.
11. Refunds
All font licenses are sold as digital goods and are non-refundable once downloaded. If you have a technical issue, contact me before requesting a refund.
